This Privacy Policy explains how Pivot Studio Inc (“Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data on behalf of our customers, typically merchants (each, a “Merchant”), in connection with our application Pivot, which operates on the Clover® Point of Sale platform (“Clover POS”).
This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data processed through the use of the Pivot application on Clover POS and does not apply to any other products, services, or business activities of Pivot Studio Inc.
Our processing of personal data is governed by this Privacy Policy and our agreements with Merchants. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a Merchant agreement, the Merchant agreement will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This Privacy Policy does not replace any privacy notice that a Merchant may be required to provide to its customers, employees, contractors, or other individuals.
Pivot processes personal data solely on behalf of Merchants, who determine the scope and purpose of the data transferred to us. The categories of personal data we process depend on the Merchant’s configuration of Clover POS and the features enabled.

Pivot retains personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Pivot application and fulfill contractual obligations with Merchants, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
To the extent applicable law provides individuals with rights regarding their personal data (including access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing), requests should be directed to the Merchant, who acts as the data controller.
